Let’s try this again. Baer, 22 months - but day 1 on the pedal-less bike. You can barely hear him repeating his name. He pronounces it, “beer”. Cheers.

It has been altogether too long since I’ve posted. Baer is days shy of 20 months. Highlights include: throwing and catching a ball; stringing words together to make mini-sentences like, “more sausage,” “shoe off” and “no kiss”; recognizes and says his own name; recognizes names of body parts and certain animals in Danish; says Danish words “tak,” “nej tak” and “bus” with a Danish accent; really into robots and Finding Nemo; really NOT into his stroller, his car seat, and having his hands and feet dirty.

Us? Really into this kid.

My first full weekend back from Costa Rica and I have to work. Meanwhile Baer and Courtney are hosting EIGHT kids and their moms for a play date. She sent this picture with one word: “Chaos”. I’d give anything to be there.
